Clan Elliot Society USA, NEWS2012 AGM NEWSDirections to Ruddy Duck and The Hilton Garden Inn Solomons The Ruddy Duck is right across the parking lot from The Hilton Garden Inn (the host hotel for the games). If you are staying at the Host Hotel it is a short walk. See the map below. Use the + to pan in closer. BUT be advised the Ruddy Duck does NOT show up on google maps satellite setting, becasue map arial photo is a year or so old. IF will go to street level maping both the Ruddy Duck Brewery and the Hilton Garden Inn can been seen. ALSO, if you are having problems of ANY KIND, whether it be time constraints, software difficulties or perhaps you are not computer savvy - PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Your data/family tree information DOES NOT need to be in GEDCOM format, but it is prefered. :-D The bottom-line is that I will accept it in any manner! The main goal here is to get every/all members to submit their trees!!! Don't forget about the main ECS USA event in 2012! Our AGM is in April of 2012....More information to come soon!! NEWS about Scottish Newsletters to ECS Members Our President Judith Elliott and former president Patricia Tennyson-Bell had communication from Margaret Eliott (our Elliot Clan Chief in Scotland) about her Scottish Newsletter... It is now posted on the webpage. The postage is just too expensive. Of course, if a member requests a hard copy this will be taken care of. ATTENTION ~ Clan Elliot USA Commissioners:Please let us know all the Scottish activities in your state that you will represent the Elliot Clan Society in 2012, so that we can add this data to the website. Also, if you should change your e-mail address, make sure to let Judith, Patricia and the webmaster(Dee)know ASAP, in order to keep our records up-to-date. It is very important that the ECS members within your state and region (and potential members) have a direct method in which to contact you!!!  |
