November 17-19th, 2007 The
Elliot Clan will be the honoured clan this year at the Louisiana Games

Oct 3rd, 2009 The 6th Annual Loch Hartwell Highland Games
& Scottish Festival will be held in the pecan grove. Very family friendly.

Oct 16th and 17th, 2009 The 37th Annual Stone Mountain Highland
Games will be held Saturday and Sunday at Stone Mountain Park in Atlanta. Over 600 musicians in the Massed Band!

April 24th, 2010 Celtic Festival of Southern Maryland, April 24, 2010
April 24, 2010 marks the 32nd year for the oldest Celtic celebration in Maryland. Chosen in 2000 by Congressman Steny Hoyer to represent Southern Maryland in the national "Local Legacy" project of the Library of Congress’ Bicentennial celebration, The Southern Maryland Celtic Festival and Highland Gathering highlights the heritage of the Scots, Irish, Welsh, Manx, Breton, Cornish and British.
The festival is scheduled on the last Saturday of April every year from 10 AM to 6 PM Rain or Shine on the 560-acre Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum. For more information please

Scottish Games & Highland Festival, which will be held at Furman
University on Saturday the 7th of June. The ECS USA will our be holding
our AGM here. Margaret our clan chief will also be attending. Please try

The ECS USA Illinois
Commissioner, Gary Elliott will be at the following games during
2009:
June 19th and 20th, 2009. The Illinois Saint Andrew Society will present the
23rd Annual Scottish Festival & Highland Games, June 19-20, 2009 at the Polo Grounds in Oak Brook, Illinois.
The festival is open to the public on Friday, June 19 from 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm and Saturday, June 20 from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm.

The ECS USA Michigan
Commissioner, Robert Bruce Elliott will be at the following games during
2009:
August 2009. Each year the
Elliot Clan is very proud to take part in North America's Oldest
Continuous Highland Games. St. Andrew's Society of Detroit, which was
founded in 1849, is a benevolent organization dedicated to preserving
Scottish heritage through its literature, customs, music, dance, and
dress. This year the 160th Annual Highland Games, will be presented at
Historic Greenmead, Livonia, on July 30th through August 1st.
Schedule of Events for the Games:
Saturday, August 1st, 2009 - The 160th Annual Highland Games at
Greenmead, Livonia, MI Gates open to the general public at 9:00 a.m.
Kansas Commissioner, Janet Elliott will be at the following games
during the year:
June 2008.Scottish Clans at the Kansas City Highland Games. Join us on the grassy
fields of E.H. Young Riverfront Park in Riverside, Missouri, our beautiful new home along the Missouri River.
Come experience the color, sounds and traditions of Scotland, here in greater Kansas City!
In 2009 the games will be held on June 13th & 14th. Be sure to contact Janet for details!

The ECS Colorado Commissioner, Linda Fegley will represent the
Elliot Clan the following games during 2009:
September 11th - 13th, 2009 Longs Peak Scottish/Irish Festival and Highland Games, will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at Estes Park, CO. These games are always held the weekend after Labor Day. Visit the Elliot booth March with the Elliots in the parade on Saturday morning.

April 21st and 22nd, 2007 Las Vegas Celtic Gathering & Highland Games, will be held at the Historic Floyd Lamb State Park, Northwest of Downtown Las Vegas.

September 15, 2007 SOMETHING SCOTTISH, sponsored by the Saint Andrews Society of Southern Nevada is September 15, 2007 at the Rainbow Library Amphitheater located at Buffalo and Cheyenne, Las Vegas.
October 6-7, 2007 The Reno Celtic Celebration, is October 6th and 7th, 2007 in Barkley county park, about 5 miles south of downtown Reno.

Alen Lemons, Commissioner for Washington and Oregon will be at the following
gatherings and events during 2009.
July 18th 2009 I will be setting up at the Portland Oregon Games on the 18th
of July 2009.
The Portland Highland Games are a fun, family-friendly event featuring Scottish Highland music, dancing, piping and
drumming competitions, heavy athletics, and other traditional Scottish cultural activities... Always the 3rd Saturday of July!
The ECS Northern California Commissioner will set up an Elliot Clan tent
at the following:
April 25th and 26th, 2009 Sacramento Valley Games at Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland.
June 20th 2009 Clan Ceilidh in the Vines at Cline Cellars Winery in Sonoma.
September 4th, 2009 Elliot Caln Dinner in Pleasanton or Dublin.
September 5th and 6th, 2009 San Francisco Caledonian Club presents the 144th annual Scottish Highland Games at Alemeda County Fairgrounds (aka Pleasanton Fairgrounds) 4501 Pleasanton Ave, Pleasanton California.

& festivals as listed above. These Scottish festivals are not only fun they will allow you to meet other Elliots (those from other Scottish Clans
too) that have similar interests and possess a passion for our unique Scottish heritage.

Northeastern Region notes
NEW HAMPSHIRE, MAINE, VERMONT and MASSACHUSETTS: (2010)
The ECS Commissioner John J. Elliott (now acting commissioner in Wisconsin and Minnesota) has in past years set up the ECS tent at following games in the New England area, which you may consider attending:
August 2010
Quechee Vermont Scottish Festival, Quechee, Vermont ( 8am to 4:30 pm )Proceeds from The Quechee Scottish Festival go to the Saint Andrew's Society of Vermont Scholarship fund. Each year several scholarships are given to worthy applicants, many of whom use their awards to further their studies of Scottish heritage, dance and music.

The New Hampshire Highland Games are the largest Scottish cultural festival in the Northeast. These games will be held over 3 days(Friday, Saturday and Sunday)at Loon Mountain Ski Resort, Lincoln, NH.
