STATUS of the GENEALOGY PROJECT The ECS Genealogy Database ONLINE is now up!!! There are (as of March 2008) about 20,000 records. Look for details and formal unveiling of it in your Spring edition of the Signal Tower. If you have any trees (GEDCOM's) you would like to see online get them to me ASAP!!! Becasue of the volume of the records included at times you may not see your gedcoms posted or updated imediately... I am asking for your patience with this process.For a more detailed look at record types (see examples) just go to the Data Example Page. Included there you will find information there about access methods (how and when you can get your password/memeber login user codes ) Please consider a voluntary contribution if you use the database!!! Much work has been devoted to this endevor by genealogist past in peresnt! Please keep in mind, the ECS Database ONLINE is intended as a genealogical research aid. IT IS FOR ECS MEMBERS ONLY. We do not provide free research. It is your responsibility to maintain the accuracy of data submitted! |
